Art Works Gallery is a rental space that was established in 2001 and holds exhibitions of painting, sculpture, photography, pottery and various other genres. The gallery also strives to introduce young artists active in both Ibaraki Prefecture and elsewhere, and holds exhibitions of their works several times a year. The gallery prides itself on its open-minded approach towards engaging with artists regardless of their age and holding exhibitions of their work, regardless of its genre. The Art Tower Mito is only a 1 minute walk away from the south side of this gallery.

[By train & bus] From JR Mito Station, take a bus from terminal 4-7 to "Izumimachi-1chome", then walk 5 minutes. [Car] About 20 minutes from Mito IC to the center of Mito City, parking lot available at Contemporary Art Center Mito.
