Despite heavy rain, the exhibition pulled in many of the photographer's fans.

This wall features one of the two photographic installations Tillmans made specially for this exhibition, 'Installation II' (2008), composed of 9 C-prints.

Tillmans' new work takes glossy photographic paper and presents it as an object in its own right, rather than as a medium of representation. In this image: 'Lichter 52' (2008), c-print, 51 x 60.8 cm, ed. 1/1

'Lichter 49' (2008), c-print, 60.8 x 51 cm, ed. 1/1'Lichter 50' (2008), c-print, 60.8 x 51 cm, ed. 1/1

Tillmans has also included one of his large 'photocopy' photographs that plays with visual flatness and different means for documenting ephemeral imagery. In this image: 'George and Dragon' (2008), C-print, 135 x 200 cm, ed 1/1

    Hi Ashley
Thank you for coming to the opening of Tokorode the other evening. I have been reading your reviews from the computer at the gallery, which are informative and giving me some idea of where to start looking at shows.Damon ,Estelle and I are interested in showing work for the next 101 art fair event, I think they were talking to you about it so Ill have to check their criteria and costs etc.
Would you like some images from the Tokorode exhibition for your listings?
my contact number is 08034913990 unfortunately I cannot access my home email but you can contact me through the gallery.
    Many thanks again
    Stella
