デスメタル、の展覧会?パンクやハードコアの展覧会は今まで見たことあるけど、デスメタルについては全く知りませんでしたので、行ってみました。
恐る恐る中へ・・、意外にも中はホワイトキューブのキレイなギャラリー。デスメタルのレコード屋は空間の仕切られたその奥にあり、店員の眼を全く気にせずに展示を鑑賞できてホっとしました。
細密に描かれた作家ごとの個性があるスカル、今までに見たスカルよりどれも強く、恐ろしさを感じました。
ポップなスカルもかわいいと思うけど、迫力が全然違い、まさにアートというかんじでした。
細密画の作品だけでなく、タペストリー？のような作品も悪魔っぽい雰囲気があって、見入ってしまいました。
