Ian J. Massie "A Second Look"

Kawasaki City Museum
Finished

Artists

Ian J. Massie
A retrospective of Scottish artist Ian J. Massie's works will be shown to mark 10 years since the artist's passing. Throughout his life, Ian Massie constantly explored new media, including watercolor and oil paintings, various kinds of prints, and gold and silver jewelery. In works ranging from landscapes to abstracts, the artist maintains a highly individual, warm and often humorous style that embodies the spirit of Scotland, where the artist lived and worked. A selection of representative works will be displayed from the collection maintained by the artist's son, a long-term resident of Kawasaki.
