This event has ended.
At Kawasaki City Museum
Media: Crafts
From the end of the third century to the seventh, enormous graves, or 'kofun', were built as symbols of status and power. With the advancement of research and excavation techniques, we are making exciting discoveries about this period. In this exhibition, the emergence of kofun and its development will be reviewed through recent research results and studies of the Kawasaki region, south Kanto region, and other parts of Japan.
This exhibition is held with Fuchu Kyodo-no-Mori Museum and Yokohama Historical Museum.
